Nui Dinh | Ba Ria – Vung Tau
Dinh Mountain is a must-see destination for anybody who has visited Vietnam.
Dinh Mountain is not only one of the most beautiful biological landscapes in the country, but it is also a famous revolutionary historical treasure. The mountain is located in Tan Thanh district and serves as a memorial to the great achievements of the people who lived here during a time of violent conflict.
Dinh Mountain gets its name from this rich past as well. According to legend, when Captain Yen Thanh Hau of Phu Yen returned to Ba Ria Vung Tau, he dispatched men to this peak. They established a camp so that Yen Thanh Hau could labor and command, and the peak was called after him from then on.

Camping tour’s schedule
The schedule for this camping tour is highly customizable. Therefore, we can adjust to meet the needs of the group. Please check the schedule below:
Pre-save the date on November 4th 2023:
9AM: Gather at Flawless Coffee (216/26 Nguyen Van Huong, Thảo Điền, District 2). Be sure to have full gas tank for the camping tour so we don’t have to stop en route.
9:30AM: After having coffee and breakfast, we will depart to Nui Dinh.
11:30AM: Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and then head up the mountain (on our bikes) to the camp site.
After arriving: Have a dip in the waterfall and relax.
Afternoon: prepare for dinner (will be an assortment of grilled meats, delicious tofu and egg recipes for vegetarians or tofu only for vegans, seasonal vegetables and rice). All diets can be catered for and so please inform of any special dietary requirements.
Later that night: we could gather around the campfire to watch a movie with a projector.
Day 2 of the camping tour:
7AM: wake up + personal hygiene + breakfast
8AM: Morning exploring the waterfalls near the site.
Around noon-early afternoon: take down and clear up the site then head back home.
Preparation for the camping tour
- First aid kit is recommended
- Towel
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Toiletries
- Power bank
- Wet wipes
- Whatever else you feel will make you feel comfortable.
WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED?
Included is the tent, sleeping mattress, blanket and pillow. Dinner and breakfast as well as drinking water and coffee are all included. Soft drinks, beer, additonal coffee and snacks are available at a shop by site for those who want them.
ARE BIKES AVAILABLE FOR HIRE?
Yes, you can rent directly from DC Motorbikes for 600.000VND for the trip (both days inclusive and with a full tank of gas). You can of course bring your own bike for no extra charge! Participation in this event is at your own risk and please follow Vietnamese traffic regulations.
COST
The trip will cost 1.950.000 VND (not inclusive of bike rental), if you share a tent with another person there will be a discount of 15% per person. If you sign up for A1/A2 license with DC there will be a 15% discount on the trip (one discount only will apply).
